Offering up aromas of sweet berries, cherries, warm spices and loamy soil, the 2021 de Ferrand is a medium to full-bodied, lively and incisive Saint-Emilion with a bright, limestone-driven profile. It should evolve gracefully in barrel and in bottle.

The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a sensual wine, bursting from the glass with pristine aromas of rose water, crushed violets, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, white pepper and a dazzling ferrous note of crushed rocks. It is a layered, full-bodied red with ample concentration and polished tannins. As seen so often from this reliable producer, lively acids balance this wine perfectly, concluding with a long-lasting finish.

Lots of seductive floral and fruit aromas of stewed strawberries, dried lavender, and torched rosemary followed by wild bush and terra-cotta. A medium-bodied wine with silky fine-grained tannins. Bright acidity backbone gives delightful freshness and crunchiness to the mid-palate and finish. Beautiful concentration and focus throughout with layered spices. Drinkable now but it will develop gracefully with age.
