The 2015 Camensac is medium garnet-purple colored with warm red and black currants on the nose with a waft of potpourri and dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate is firm and chewy with red berries flavors and an earthy finish.

Drinking well today, the 2015 Camensac is a notable success in the vintage. Bursting with aromas of cherries, sweet berries, spices, vanilla pod and violets, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a lively and expressive core of fruit. There's no reason to wait.

The 2015 Camensac has a generous and quite luscious redcurrant, cranberry and raspberry-scented bouquet that is well defined and for want of a better word, just plain enjoyable. The aromatics are determined to give pleasure. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red berry fruit, nicely judged acidity and a satisfying, lightly spiced, tobacco-tinged finish. Not one of the vintage's long-term prospects but a nicely made Médoc that will satisfy over the next decade.

The 2015 Camensac is quite pretty. There is a good bit of brightness and purity to the red stone fruit and floral-infused flavors. In 2015, Camensac is just a touch compact, but it is otherwise a tasty Haut-Médoc with a good bit of character.

The 2015 Camensac is a solid, tasty Haut-Médoc. Bright, tense and wiry, the 2015 is decidedly medium in body, and yet there is good vibrancy to the red stone fruit, rose petal, smoke, and white pepper flavors. The 2015 is a direct, somewhat compact wine, but it offers good personality, length and nuance at its level. Tasted two times.

The 2015 Camensac is quite deep in color. It feels quite generous and luscious on the nose with red currant and cranberry aromas, just determined to give pleasure. The palate presently feels a little chewy, however there is plenty of clean black fruit and satisfying roundness on the finish. Enjoy this over the next 12-15 years. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.
