The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières is one of the finest I've tasted from barrel at this address, mingling aromas of pear and ripe citrus oil with notions of hazelnuts, freshly baked bread and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate that's wonderfully deep and pure, its satiny attack segueing into a layered, refined core of fruit, concluding with a long, palate-staining finish.
About the Producer
Vincent Dancer cultivates 6 hectares of land across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, family vines that he took up in 1996 after his oenology training. He got things going on his own at the family property, where he went on to build a winery in 1997. Since 2012, his vines have had organic certification. Vincent Dancer has shown himself to be talented and creative in his work, particularly succeeding in the maturation of his cuvées. His wines are remarkable, characterised by their purity and finesse.
