The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with notes of citrus oil, white flowers, pear and crisp stone fruit. Medium to full-bodied, textural and concentrated, it's searingly intense, with lively acids and impressive levels of chalky structuring dry extract. Long and saline, it's more marked by the site than the vintage.
About the Producer
Vincent Dancer cultivates 6 hectares of land across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, family vines that he took up in 1996 after his oenology training. He got things going on his own at the family property, where he went on to build a winery in 1997. Since 2012, his vines have had organic certification. Vincent Dancer has shown himself to be talented and creative in his work, particularly succeeding in the maturation of his cuvées. His wines are remarkable, characterised by their purity and finesse.
