Pure and nervy minerals entice the nose with savory, salted plums and oranges. Plenty of fruit and structure at the same time on the palate. The tannins are chalky and resolved, leaving a tight, long and not overly austere finish. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Barolo Cerequio is another fine choice in this range for near and medium-term drinking. Macerated cherry, mocha, spice, crushed rose petals and a kiss of oak all grace this mid-weight, open-knit Barolo from La Morra's Cerequio vineyard.
About the Producer
The winery's vineyards are scattered in Langhe, Monferrato and Gavi in Piedmont, with a total area of 110 hectares, of which 60 hectares are owned and 50 hectares are long-term leases. In vineyard management, the winery adheres to the strictest ecological standards, adopting a balanced and rigorous approach to grape pruning according to the standards of the winemaking industry, using products with low environmental load to deal with fungal problems, etc. The grape varieties grown are Barbera and Nebbiolo. The wines produced by Mike Kearo Winery are mainly red wine and white wine, which are divided into several series, such as BAROLO DOCG, BARBARESCO DOCG, MOSCATO DOCG, METODO CLASSICO, NEW PIEMONTE and so on.
