Latour's 2023 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru wafts from the glass with notes of pear, mandarin oil and peach mingled with notes of struck match and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's rich and textural, with a sweet, layered core of fruit and an expansive finish. Now bottled under Diam, it should age with grace.

Maison Louis Latour is one of the most beautiful houses in Burgundy, recognized worldwide for the quality of its red wines (Pinot Noir grape variety) and white grapes (Chardonnay grape variety). This house run by Louis Fabrice Latour is a family business that produces on 50 hectares of vines the largest concentration of Premiers and Grands Crus among the most magical appellations of Burgundy. Knight, Corton, Aloxe Corton, Corton Charlemagne, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Chambertin are the most magical. Louis Latour also produces more accessible wines such as Beaune and Cote de Nuits Villages.
