About the Producer
Les Tourelles de Longueville is rated as a Super Second, which is comparable to the First Growth. The proportion of Baron’s second-brand grapes is 58% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The brewing method is mainly based on plots, so the winemaker can accurately grasp the influence of soil quality and annual climate. Merlot pre-fermented low-temperature maceration for 4-6 days. The rest were soaked in a stainless steel temperature-controlled tank for 20 days in the traditional way. Lactic acid fermentation in large tanks. 70% will use one-year barrels, 30% new barrels, aging for 12 months
