About the Producer
In 1985, Paul-François bought the Château des Castaignes in Montmort, which was built in Montmort as La Demoiselle on the ruins of Epernay, just a few kilometers from Epernay. The castle sits on a hillside in the center of a park designed by Edouard Redont, who also designed the park of the Villa Demoiselle. The idea arose to create a new cuvée for Vranken Champagne called La Demoiselle de Champagne. Demoiselle is the common name for the dragonfly, a symbol of the Art Nouveau genius René Lalique. Everything fits together to create this first dry Champagne, in a special bottle that is a moving tribute to Art Nouveau.
