Tasting notes

Reviewed by: Neal Martin
The 2024 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a nicely detailed nose: white fruit, crushed limestone, a little flinty in style, though it does not quite have the lift and vigour of the finest in this vintage. The palate is well balanced with a dash of stem ginger on the entry. Tensile and maintaining its spicy, white pepper and liquorice-tinged finish, there is quite a lot going on in this Perrières. Worth checking out.
