Aromas of pear, blanched almonds, peach and white flowers introduce the 2017 Meursault Les Corbins, a medium to full-bodied, satiny wine with a charming, open-knit personality and lovely underlying cut and concentration that exemplifies the characteristics of this gourmand site. From bottle, I expect it to be the most forward of Dancer's village wines.
About the Producer
Vincent Dancer cultivates 6 hectares of land across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, family vines that he took up in 1996 after his oenology training. He got things going on his own at the family property, where he went on to build a winery in 1997. Since 2012, his vines have had organic certification. Vincent Dancer has shown himself to be talented and creative in his work, particularly succeeding in the maturation of his cuvées. His wines are remarkable, characterised by their purity and finesse.
