The 2022 Rocking Horse Cape White, a blend of Sémillon, Roussanne, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Clairette Blanche, with 13.2% alcohol, showcases a fresh and mineral profile that is slightly shy. The wine kicks with citrus and offers mineral tension before gliding to a cerebral and shy finish. This aged in old, neutral barrels for 10 months with minimal intervention and malolactic fermentation. This vintage produced 18,000 bottles. Enjoy with food.

Established in 2012 by John and Tasha Seccombe, Thorne and Daughters Wines produce authentic wines in the beautiful Western Cape. It's been a long journey, we've traveled the world and come back to where we first met. We love Cape Town and we want to taste the air and the sun in our wines. To produce our wines we draw on the long history of wine growing in South Africa, combining ancient vineyard plots with new grape varieties to create wines with old fashioned simplicity and modern 'edge'. Our approach to winemaking is simple, honest and gentle, and we hope to produce wines that tell the story of the Cape of Good Hope.
