The 2023 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru has a well-defined, pure bouquet with honeysuckle, linden and a touch of crushed stone underneath. The palate leans exotic, with peach and passionfruit notes, but the acidity keeps this tensile with a welcome dab of ginger toward the finish. Enjoy this over the next decade. Tasted blind at the BIVB offices in Chablis.
