About the Producer
Every bottle of Rapaura Springs wine features a simple symbol: a circle of rocks representing the pure spring in our home vineyard in the heart of Marlborough, New Zealand. This label and name reflect our deep connection to the pristine waters that collect high in the Southern Alps, filtering through the region’s braided rivers to refresh the underground aquifers that nourish our vines and bubble up in our own Rapaura Springs. The Rapaura Springs are more than just a lifeline for our vines; they serve as a daily reminder to protect the water and land that make our wines exceptional. It takes months for the pure water from the snow-capped Alps to reach our vineyard, marking a full cycle of nature that defines our lives and influences our winemaking. To care for the environment, we’ve invested in cutting-edge irrigation technology and a multi-million-dollar water purification process, allowing us to use around 40% less water than the national average. By composting grape marc, planting cover crops, and grazing sheep, we minimize waste and replenish our land, ensuring the sustainability of future vintages. Each bottle of Rapaura Springs is bold, delicious, and uniquely defined by nature. Every glass offers a pure reflection of Marlborough, showcasing its sun-soaked glory.
