About the Producer

The vineyards of Quintasha Winery are not more than 500 feet above sea level, and the soil in the garden is composed of alluvial soil, mainly gravel and sandy loam, with good drainage. Because it is located in the widest part of the Napa Valley, the vineyard enjoys abundant sunshine every day, and the climate in the garden is quite mild. The colder nights in March and April in the spring and the warm days and cool nights in the summer are very conducive to full ripening of the grapes, with an average annual rainfall of 26-36 inches. 26 different vineyards produce 40 different batches of high-quality wines, all thanks to the diversity of the vineyards and the high quality and uniqueness of the grapes produced. In 2002, Quintasha Winery hired Walker Warner Architects of San Francisco to design a winery with a modern appearance. The structure perfectly integrates the winery into the natural environment. This modern winery has state-of-the-art winemaking equipment and the latest winemaking technology. The winery has suitable French oak barrels and stainless steel fermentation tanks, which can add complexity and subtle blending to the wine. The winery has a 17,000-square-foot wine cellar that can store up to 30 million barrels of wine. The winery hired the famous "flying winemaker" Michel Rolland as a winemaking consultant. The wines produced by Château Quintessa will be aged in French oak barrels for two years before being released on the market. Today, the winery produces Quintessa 2012, Quintessa 2011 and many other wines, which are deeply loved by wine lovers all over the world.
