The 2017 Chablis has a tightly-wound, flinty bouquet with just a faint hint of pressed white flowers. The palate is well balanced with a slither of bitter lemon on the entry, modest weight with a strict and linear, saline finish. Very classic in style, this Chablis should be broached over the next six or seven years.

The 2018 Chablis (Domaine) is beautifully layered, perfumed and expressive. White flowers, mint and orchard fruit all grace this silky, inviting Chablis from Fèvre. The Chablis emerges from a mix of 46 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 50 years. A touch of oak (5-7%, all neutral) adds a shade of complexity. In this rich vintage, the village Chablis is especially fine.

The 2018 Chablis Village has an attractive bouquet of gently unfolding green apple and crushed limestone scents. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, and quite citric toward the finish, which shows good persistence for a Village Cru.

The 2020 Chablis Village comes from 50 different plots around 50 years old, the majority planted at the end of the 1960s. The simple but well-defined bouquet of Granny Smith apples is light and airy. The palate is crisp and taut with citrus lemon and saline notes. Very citric on the finish, and not long, but it conveys satisfying energy at this level.

This has plenty of ripe rich fruit with an array of lime curd, peaches, apricots and mangoes. The palate is packed with flesh and very succulent smooth and creamy peaches and apricots. A lot to like here. Drink on release.

This offers plenty of fruit and a deeply fleshy texture on the palate. The nose is all melon, peaches and limes and the palate has such juicy and fleshy texture, combined with a flash of bright, refreshing acidity, holding melon, pears and white peaches fresh and long. A concentrated and delicious AC from Fèvre in 2018. Drink now.

This is really bright and clear with sliced apple, pear and stone. Some chalk, too. It’s linear and tight. Pretty length and freshness. Drink now.

This has aromas of biscuits, sliced apples, grapefruit pith and crushed stones. Mineral and focused, with a medium body and excellent textural weight. Persistent, too. Drink now.
