The NV Brut Rosé Prestige is gorgeous. It shows lovely length and focus in an understated style that is quite appealing. There is tons of depth to the fruit as the wine opens up in the glass. The Rosé Prestige can be enjoyed as an aperitif, but it also has enough body to pair beautifully with a wide range of foods. This is a great version of the house's Rosé. This is Lot L1204SZ07700. Disgorged May 2011 (not indicated on label).

The NV Brut Rosé Prestige is a beautiful wine. Sweet, perfumed fruit emerges from this crisp, layered Champagne. Ideally the Brut Rosé Prestige is best enjoyed as an aperitif as the light to medium-bodied frame is likely to be overwhelmed by food. This is truly a lovely effort for such a large property. Disgorged end of May 2008, (not indicated on label)

(50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier; 9 g/l dosage; L3374SV05900): Light orange-pink. Cherry, orange zest and fresh rose aromas show very good clarity and energy. Sappy red fruit flavors display a spicy quality, picking up energy and a floral nuance with air. Concentrated, vibrant and precise, finishing on a zesty mineral note, with lingering spiciness and firm grip.

(70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay; L1357SP00500): Vivid orange-pink. Aromas of raspberry, candied rose and sweet butter, with a deeper cherry pit quality in the background. Offers juicy red fruit and tangerine flavors that become toastier and spicier with aeration. Clings impressively on the finish, which features zesty mineral and citrus pith nuances. I like this wine's blend of power and vivacity.

(made from roughly two-thirds pinot noir and 30% chardonnay): Light, bright orange. A highly aromatic bouquet evokes buttered toast, raspberry, tangerine and white flowers, with a subtle mineral nuance adding vibrancy. Smoky and plush on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering powerful red berry flavors and a touch of honeysuckle. A silky finish, expansive and persistent, repeats the notes of toast and red fruit.

(85% pinot noir and pinot meunier, with 15% chardonnay; 15% of the pinot component is still pinot noir; L94025U04100): Light orange. Red berries and blood orange on the nose, along with notes of fresh flowers and smoke. Dry and focused in the house style, with very good depth to its spicy redcurrant and cherry flavors. The cherry note carries through on the finish, which is brisk, focused and very long. I've seen this bottling age well and this particular release has the balance to last.

(lot #4255SS01000 on the bottle) Bright, clear pink color, with an aggressive mousse. Vibrant nose offers a wide range of red berry aromas, along with floral notes of jasmine and magnolia blossom. Silky and light on the palate, the red berry fruit enhanced by suave baking spices and tangy mineral notes. This is a classic rendition of a consistently fine rose Champagne, displaying finesse and haunting perfume.

Pale strawberry-pink. Perfumed aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and flowers; smells dry and rocky. Bright and incisive, with intense, high-pitched red berry flavors of compelling sweetness; still a bit youthfully restrained. Offers very good density and extract. A brisk, youthful rose with a light touch.

Bright, pale salmon-skin color. Spicy aromas of raspberry and flowers. Supple, ripe and spicy, with strong red berry and spice flavors; a fruit bomb of a rose. Offers a satisfying texture and very good persistence.

Pale silver-pink color, even lighter at the rim. Penetrating aromas of raspberry, strawberry and cloudberry, with a floral topnote. Bright, crisp, dry and fruit-driven, but not yet showing much complexity. An elegant, aperitif-styled wine with rather uncompromising, slightly dry-edged flavors and a firm, somewhat lean finish. Not quite as satisfying as a bottle I tasted a year ago, but still quite stylish.

Pale strawberry color. Complex aromas of raspberry, strawberry, ruby grapefruit, smoke, mint, chalk and toast; quite pinot-like. Very fine mousse. Fat, rich and broad, but late-hitting, ripe acidity frames and lengthens the flavors and contributes a juicy quality. Red fruit flavors fill the mouth. Finishes with some youthfully brisk acidity and very good persistence. Very good for this bottling.
