From lieu-dit Petit Preuses, located on the Portlandian plateau above grand cru lieu-dit Les Preuses, Piuze's 2022 Petit Chablis Fortis is more reductive and incisive than the regular bottling, with more depth at the core, though its retains the unusually textural, round signature of the vintage.

The 2023 Petit Chablis Fortis comes from just above the grand cru Les Preuses and appears to be more tight-knit and tensile than Patrick Piuze’s standard Petit Chablis bottling. Opening in the glass with scents of lemon zest and oyster shell and laden with racy acids, it has very well navigated through the warm vintage and comes warmly recommended.
