Notes of toasty reduction, honeycomb, freshly baked bread and peach preface the 2022 Chablis Terroir de Fleys, a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny wine that's rich but lively.
Rating: 90 –90
The 2019 Chablis Terroir de Fleys unwinds in the glass with notes of orange oil, pear, green apple, white flowers and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, bright and layered, it's long and precise, concluding with a mouthwateringly saline finish.

Revisited from my cellar, the 2017 Chablis Terroir de Fleys is drinking nicely, unwinding in the glass with scents of white flowers, beeswax, crisp stone fruit and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, delicately textural and precise, with tangy acids and a saline finish. This has taken on depth while retains its lovely definition and should evolve gracefully over the coming decade.

The 2020 Chablis Terroir de Fleys opens in the glass with aromas of green apple and pear mingled with notions of pastry cream, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and lively, it's a fine-boned, mineral wine that concludes with a long, saline finish.
Rating: 89 –89
The 2018 Chablis Terroir de Fleys is one of the ampler, more open-knit wines in the range, bursting with aromas of ripe apples, orange zest, marzipan and oyster shell. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a broad attack and a charming, fleshy profile. Of course, it may well tighten up with a little time in bottle.

Wafting from the glass with a bouquet of beeswax, oyster shell and melon, framed by youthful reduction, Patrick Piuze’s 2023 Chablis Terroir de Fleys is medium to full-bodied, bright and racy, with a chalky finish. It will structurally unwind and develop nicely with additional time in the bottle.

A very chalky parcel in Fourneaux. This has a more floral, spicy and herbal edge to the nose. Having spent some time in wood, it has a nicely fleshy center palate that fills out nicely. Smooth hazelnuts and peaches. Drink now or hold.

This has a very plush texture and a smooth build on the palate with greater depth, thanks to some older oak maturation. A deep, peach and grapefruit core here. Some minerals and good weight at the finish. Drink now.
