The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru matured in 25% new oak and bottled in August. It has a well defined and energetic bouquet with plenty of yellow plum, red apple, touches of hazelnut and light orange blossom aromas. Like the domaine’s other 2019s, this is so pretty. The palate is very well balanced with orange rind and quince on the entry. Focused and almost "lilting" in quality, it gently fans out towards the finish. This is going to be very seductive.

Quite complex with grapefruit and a lemon-pith edge. Fine acidity runs linear and fresh on the palate. Mouthwatering and intense. Drink or hold.
