Critic ratings

vinous 2019

Rating: 88 –90

The 2019 Beaune Grèves Le Clos Blanc 1er Cru clearly has more energy and terroir expression compared to the Bressandes, featuring grapefruit, citrus peel and hints of white chocolate developing with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a subtle touch of sour lemon on the entry and an attractive, spicy finish. It might miss a bit of tension but it should age nicely in bottle.
