The 2018 Bourgogne Blanc, 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay as usual, has an earthy bouquet that perhaps needs a little more delineation. The palate is nicely balanced with light tropical tones and a touch of petrol, and a little Riesling-like toward the finish. Fine, but for early drinking.

The 2019 Bourgogne Aligoté shows a little more intensity on the lychee-tinged nose compared to the 2018. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a waxy texture and dried pineapple and a slight petrolly note on the Alsace-like finish.

The 2015 Bourgogne Blanc, a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc which attained 13% natural alcohol, offers up pretty notes of orchard fruit, citrus pith and a light framing of smoky new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, pure and juicy, with light chalky grip on the finish.
