The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet is a touch more muted on the nose compared to the 2014 Puligny Villages, but it just needs a little more coaxing with honeysuckle and beeswax aromas. The palate is taut and fresh, very citric in the mouth with lime and citrus lemon, hints of orange zest developing towards the satisfying finish that has a little more depth than the Puligny. This is lovely.
