Rating: 87 –87

Incorporating late-press fractions from Vincent's best cuvées this year, the 2021 Bourgogne Blanc is an ample, medium-bodied, fleshy wine evocative of white flowers, pear and almonds. It will make for charming drinking on release.

Rating: 88 –88

Opening in the glass with scents of crisp green orchard fruit, citrus zest, pastry cream and struck match, the 2018 Bourgogne Blanc is medium-bodied, racy and tensile, with a tangy spine of acidity and fine depth at the core. This has turned out really well and punches above its weight—but what's new about that?

Rating: 89 –89

The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc opens in the glass with scents of citrus zest, peach, hazelnuts and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive, with racy acids, lovely purity of fruit and chalky grip on the finish, it's a lovely cuvée that includes some declassified Montagny.

A cuvée that now sees 12 months in wood followed by some time in stainless steel tank, the 2020 Bourgogne Blanc exhibits aromas of pear, pastry cream and citrus pith, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and chiseled palate that's impressively layered and precise. This derives from holdings in the commune of Chassagne, where late pruning, Vincent tells me, has done wonders in limiting yields.
