The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Clos des Prouges comes from marn soils. This has a finely-tuned and more mineral-driven bouquet compared to Les Perrières, hints of yellow plum, Vervane tea and crushed stones emerging with time. The palate is structured with fine substance and grip, a twist of sour lemon and quite a long, lingering saline finish. This could turn into one of J-A Ferret's best 2020s.
