The 2018 Mâcon-Cruzille Les Geniévrières opens in the glass with pretty aromas of pear, Meyer lemon, white flowers and blanched almonds. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's racy and dynamic, with fine depth at the core and a long, mouthwateringly mineral finish. This has turned out beautifully.

The 2019 Mâcon-Cruzille Les Geniévrières is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, lemon oil, dried white flowers and warm bread. Medium to full-bodied, with a fleshy core of concentrated fruit that's framed by chalky dry extract and underpinned by tangy acids, it has turned out especially well. Perhaps that's because Guillot opted to extend élevage to a year in barrel and fully six months in tank.

The 2020 Mâcon-Cruzille Les Geniévrières has turned out very nicely, wafting from the glass with aromas of crisp green apples, pear, confit citrus, freshly baked bread and beeswax. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, its enveloping core of fruit girdled by racy acids, it concludes with a long, saline finish. This cuvée is especially charming this year.
