Rating: 93 –93

Bright straw-gold. Aromas of poached pear and yellow peach are complicated by orange zest, honey and floral nuances. Sappy and broad in the mouth, offering ripe, mineral-laced orchard and pit fruit flavors, along with a suggestion of orange zest that adds bite on the back half. Clings with excellent tenacity on a long, chewy finish that leaves behind subtle floral and honey notes.

(half marsanne and half roussanne, all raised in large older casks): Bright yellow-gold. Ripe peach and pear scents are complemented by a smoky mineral quality and a touch of iodine. At once rich and lively, offering intense pit fruit, honey, hazelnut and orange zest flavors. Gains energy and spiciness with air and finishes with excellent clarity and mineral-driven thrust. There's something vaguely Meursault-like going on here.

Light yellow. Exotic, heady aromas of dried pit fruits, jasmine, marzipan and candied citrus peel, with a bright mineral overtone. Juicy and expansive on entry, then more taut in the mid-palate, offering vibrant orange and pear flavors and a spine of chalky minerality. A smoky note comes up on the long, sappy and penetrating finish, which repeats the floral note.

Deeper yellow to gold color here. This has a rich, peach and grilled-quince nose with notes of dried banana, too. The palate has honeyed quince and a gently grippy edge to the finish. A blend of equal parts marsanne and roussanne. Drink now.

A golden-colored, weighted and flavorful Ermitage white. Notes of apples, roasted almonds, smoky toast, baked lemons and sweet spices. It’s medium-bodied with a round, creamy texture. It’s well-rounded and creamy with a similar finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now.
