Light brilliant orange. Fresh strawberry, melon and nectarine scents plus a hint of candied orange peel. Silky and open-knit, showing good depth to the juicy pit fruit and red berry flavors. Finishes supple and long, leaving juicy peach and honeydew melon notes behind.

Brilliant peach skin. Red berries and pit fruits on the nose, and a floral nuance in the background. Silky and open-knit, showing good depth as well as energy to the red currant and nectarine flavors, which pick up a refreshingly bitter orange zest quality on the back half. Finishes long and juicy, with a repeating floral note and subtle grip. Don't hate on this wine just because it’s popular. - Josh Raynolds

A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle, the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose Whispering Angel reveals aromas of peach, grapefruit, lemon, red berries and spices. Light to medium-bodied, elegant and fresh, tense and juicy, it’s pure and clean with a mouthwatering, elegant finish.

The 2017 Cotes de Provence Rose Whispering Angel is a very good effort from this export-focused winery. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Vermentino, and Tibouren, it offers peach and melon aromas along with a plump, medium-bodied palate and a crisp, grapefruit-y finish. Yes, it's a well-known brand, but don't turn your nose up at it, as it represents solid grape sourcing and winemaking.
