From Chery, the 2020 Condrieu Verchery features delicate aromas of spring flowers, lychees, white peaches and fresh limes. It's medium-bodied, fresh, clean and long on the finish. Not a big, rich example of the appellation, it's built on the current trend of freshness, while still having plenty of character.

Not a big, rich wine, the 2016 Condrieu Verchery is built on freshness, stones and spice. Wet stone and cracked pepper aromas lead the way in this medium-bodied, crisp white that bucks the appellation's trend of lushness and ripeness. It should drink well for at least a couple of years.

A pretty, clean and classy white, the 2014 Verchery Condrieu offers notes of honeyed apple, citrus blossom, lychee nut and toasted bread in a medium-bodied, ripe, enjoyable style. While it started out a little flat, it continued to freshen up with time in the glass, so give it some air if drinking anytime soon. It should drink nicely for 2-3 years.

Their lightly-colored 2015 Condrieu Verchery is borderline outstanding and has a very fresh, crisp vibe that goes against the bigger, richer style of the vintage. Citrus, white peach, cold steel and plenty of minerality all give way to a clean, lively, well-made Condrieu that will keep for 3-4 years.

Perfumed and delicate, the 2022 Condrieu Verchery is showing well today, evoking aromas of flowers, lime leaves, lemon and spices mingled with delicate notes of pear. Moderately weighted and tense, it's precise and seamless with bright acids for a Condrieu with a fleshy, delicate mid-palate highlighted by lovely spicy notes and a long, saline finish. Matured in barrels, the oak is barely noticeable, making it one of the most tense, singular Condrieus. Readers who prioritize tension and salinity will appreciate this cuvée.
