The 2017 Brut Rosé is performing well, exhibiting aromas of red berries, pear, Meyer lemon, white flowers and fresh pastry. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, with fine depth at the core, filigreed tannic structure and racy acids, it's the finest wine I've tasted from Balfour, and it comes warmly recommended.

The 2015 Brut Rosé is also showing nicely, wafting from the glass with aromas of honeyed orchard fruits, dried flowers and marzipan. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with a tangy spine of acidity, a fleshy core of fruit and a tangy, moderately angular finish. While it may be more serious in aspiration than the regular non-vintage Brut, to my palate it's not quite as complete or integrated.
