The 2020 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brand offers an intense and concentrated bouquet with candied lemon and lychee aromas intertwined with notes of crushed stones and lemon peels. Lush and piquant on the palate, with great intensity and beautiful bitters reminiscent of bitter oranges and kumquat on the finish, this is a rich, tensioned and vital Gewürz that belongs to the best I have had from granite soils. This is like a Sporen from granite soils. Stunning acidity here. This is nervous, vibrantly fresh and crystalline. Fabulous! Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022.

Rating: 92 –92

The 2014 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brand is deep, pure and aromatic on the nose, and very piquant on the palate. Sweet, lush and precise this is a savory, refined and elegant Gewurz with a very nice concentration, tannin structure and salinity in the long and aromatic, tension-filled finish. This is another must have of the 2014 vintage if you don't want to miss your Gewurztraminer.

The citrus-colorerd 2015 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brand offers a rich and intense, but precise and fresh, truly exciting nose. Tight and intense, this is a full-bodied, pure and mineral Gewurz with good freshness, lemon piquancy and fine tannin structure. It is rich and lush but also stunningly pure, finessed and full of tension—thanks to remarkable acidity for Gewurz from this spectacular vintage.

Rating: 94 –94

The 2017 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brand is intensely aromatic yet fine and spicy on the nose, with tropical fruit aromas intermixed with flinty tones. The palate is round and intense, very elegant and refined, with a dense and velvety texture and very fine tannins. The finish is very long and salty. One of the rare great Gewürztraminers from granite. Tasted October 2018.
