Bright ruby-red. Mineral-accented aromas of raspberry, cherry and candied licorice are accompanied by a building floral nuance. Appealingly sweet and focused on the palate, offering energetic red and blue fruit and violet pastille flavors and a hint of spicecake. Shows very good focus and energy on a long, sappy finish framed by harmonious tannins.

Deep ruby. Aromas of ripe red and dark berries, peppery spices and fresh flowers are backed by a deeper licorice quality. Silky and lithe in character, showing very good energy and lift to the bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors. Becomes sweeter with air and finishes juicy and long, gaining shape and grip from a dusting of fine-grained tannins.

About the Producer
Patrick Jasmin operates a family-run winery in Côte-Rôtie, Northern Rhône, where he cultivates grapes on steep, terraced vineyards. As the fourth generation to manage the domaine, he emphasizes traditional winemaking practices while embracing the challenges of the rugged terrain. The vineyards are primarily planted with 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, with a focus on preserving the ancient Syrah variety known as “la vieille sérine.” Patrick vinifies grapes from different parcels separately, blending them before bottling to create a balanced Côte-Rôtie. His commitment to terroir and minimal intervention contrasts with modern trends, resulting in wines that gain complexity with age.
