About the Producer

Olivier Horiot’s estate spans 7 hectares in Les Riceys, located in the Côte des Bar, the southern region of Champagne. The soil here is reminiscent of that in Chablis, characterized by clay and limestone rather than chalk. Olivier vinifies his still wines, including the renowned Rosé des Riceys, as well as his Champagnes from approximately 2 hectares. The remaining grapes are sold to the cooperative and négociants. His winemaking approach is biodynamic, utilizing native yeasts and minimal sulfur to enhance the purity and expression of the terroir.
