Champagne Maurice Choppin, located in Damery near Épernay, is managed by Benjamin Choppin, the seventh generation of his family in the region. The estate spans 6.5 hectares and produces gastronomic wines, including the house wine Les Arpents, a blend of 85% Pinot Meunier, 10% Chardonnay, and 5% Pinot Noir. Their extra-brut style offers a fresh, spicy character. The range also features ‘lieux-dits’ cuvées, such as Les Terres des Reguins and La Côte Charmont, both made from 100% Pinot Meunier, showcasing rich, creamy, and fruity profiles. The estate is noted for its intense, food-friendly wines, with age-worthy selections like the 1972 Les Bas Russelets, highlighting their commitment to quality and tradition.
