About the Producer

Tino Kuban, an emerging winemaker in Burgundy, has built an impressive background through his experiences at renowned estates such as Domaine de L'Horizon, Felton Road, Burn Cottage, Sato Wines, Pierre Overnoy, Philippe Bornard, and Jean-Yves Bizot, among others. After a series of ventures, Tino ultimately settled in Meursault, where he took over the esteemed estate previously owned by Bernard van Berg, a highly influential figure in Burgundy. Starting from the 2019 vintage, the estate was rebranded as "Les Jardins Vivants," marking the beginning of Tino's winemaking journey in this renowned region. In addition to his work at Les Jardins Vivants, Tino also established Maison Glandien in Meursault. Embodying his winemaking philosophy, Maison Glandien meticulously selects only the highest quality grapes from Burgundy, Beaujolais, Jura, and Alsace. Maison Glandien is located in France. Some of the wines produced by Maison Glandien are blended with grapes sourced from different regions across France, leading to the classification of these wines as Vin de France. Tino's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the winemaking process, from the stringent quality requirements for grape suppliers to the use of spontaneous fermentation and minimal sulphite additions during bottling. As a result, Tino Kuban's wines are considered rare and exceptional, representing a new and exciting discovery for wine enthusiasts. With only a limited number of bottles available, these wines undoubtedly deserve a distinguished place among the finest Burgundy wines.
