Tasting notes

Reviewed by: Monica Larner
The Lismore 2024 Greyton Estate Reserve Viognier shows ripeness and roundness with a soft, enveloping texture, though focused mineral notes give it balance. Nearly full-bodied yet poised, it offers accessible appeal with a gently sweet-toned finish. Tiny grape clusters contribute concentration without heaviness. The wine captures why Greyton stands apart as its own appellation, where altitude and cooling breezes temper Viognier’s natural opulence.
