In 1927, Hachod Fringhian, the predecessor of Charlotte Morgain Le Gallais, acquired the Domain of Boursault, which was formerly owned by Madame Veuve Clicquot. She built the Boursault Castle in 1843, and her great-granddaughter, the Duchess of Uzès, sold the domain in 1913. After five generations, Charlotte continues to manage part of the estate, which consists of 7 plots, each with its own unique characteristics, nestled in the familial clos overlooking the Marne Valley. The Le Gallais domain is located in the village of Boursault, just a few kilometers from Epernay, in the heart of the Marne Valley. The estate's richness lies in both its historical buildings and its soil. The limestone filtering properties, combined with the freshness of the clay, contribute to the terroir's balance, playing a crucial role in the pursuit of finesse and elegance in their Champagnes.
