The 2017 Pinot Noir McDougall Ranch is flat-out gorgeous. In the glass, the McDougall is deep, layered and exquisitely beautiful, from the very first taste. The wine's sheer density practically covers the whole cluster influence. Bold, dramatic and sweeping in feel, the McDougall is a total stunner. I loved it.

Kutch Wines is a small, family-owned winery located in Sonoma County, California, that specializes in producing premium Pinot Noir wines. The winery was founded by Jamie Kutch in 2005, and since then, it has become known for its high-quality, terroir-driven wines. Jamie Kutch started his career as a stock trader in New York City, but he developed a passion for wine during a trip to Burgundy, France. He decided to pursue his passion for winemaking and moved to California to study viticulture and enology at University of California, Davis.
