The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trézin has a slightly austere nose that, despite coaxing, just feels a bit unresponsive. The palate is fresh on the entry with Granny Smith apples and pear. This feels fresh and saline and delivers a moreish, cohesive finish that bodes well for the future when, hopefully, the aromatics will find their voice.

Joseph Colin not only has the aura of the Baijiu family of Burgundy, but also has an amazing family background.
