A flavourful and intriguingly complex whisky with a deep golden natural colour from the cask. Finely balancing aromatic warmth with zingy citrus notes, Highland Park 15 is all about lively contrasts—just like life here in Orkney. The flavour Lively, bright and always surprising. Fresh, floral and spicy on nose, leading to warm vanilla, pineapple and zesty citrus on the palate. The finish is mellow, with delicate vanilla, toasty spice and a gentle hit of aromatic smoke from our Orkney heathered peat. The craft We fine-tune the subtle warm vanilla notes of the 15-year old by harmonising whiskies matured in first fill, sherry-seasoned American oak casks and first-fill, sherry-seasoned European Oak casks, as well as some refill casks to balance out its contrasting flavours. It’s bottled at a slightly higher ABV of 44% which lends its complex notes an extra touch of vibrancy.
