About the Producer
Gabriëlskloof has fulfilled the dream of South African Bernhard Heyns, who had been searching for years for a unique piece of land that would, in his words, "allow He's rooted here." In 2001, he discovered what was then a rapeseed farm called "Avontuur", and his investment has been a blockbuster since then. It was quickly discovered that the site had the potential to produce high-quality wines with a distinctive character, and it proved to be the case. Gabrielskloof has been owned and operated by the Haines family ever since.
