About the Producer

Famille Lieubeau farms over 40 hectares of vines, producing Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and Vin de Pays from grapes such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The vines are planted on rocky terrain, often on sheer cliffs, where roots must penetrate deep for hydration. This unique environment means the wines reflect more of the rock and minerals than typical fruit or floral notes. Coupled with the cold Atlantic breezes, the result is an exceptional cool climate that yields high-quality, precise white wines. The Lieubeau family meticulously vinifies their wines based on exposition, bedrock density, and harvest date. Their Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon are farmed with care, and all of their Melon is now certified organic by Agriculture Biologique. They maintain low yields to ensure the wines express both varietal character and terroir, resulting in delicious, vibrant wines that offer outstanding value within their portfolio.
