About the Producer
Domaine Emilie Geantet, a boutique winery in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, was founded in 2005 by Emilie Geantet, daughter of Vincent Geantet of the esteemed Domaine Geantet-Pansiot. Emilie honed her winemaking skills alongside her father before establishing her own estate, sourcing grapes from contracted farmers across 3.5 hectares in Brochon, Fixin, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Employing meticulous selection and fermentation processes, including twice-daily juice and skin rinsing, the winery ages 30% of its wine in new oak barrels for 12-13 months. The resulting wines, such as Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cherbaudes and Vieilles Vignes, reflect the region's terroir and are well-received both locally and internationally.
