About the Producer
Edouard and Eleni met while working the 2010 harvest in New Zealand. Soon after they were married and on their way back to Chablis to take over a small piece of Edouard's family domaine. Edouard's family owns Domaine Vocoret & Fils, a large and established domaine, with over 50 hectares planted. Their primary focus with their first 4.9 hectares was applying a more artisanal and sustainable approach to farming. They specialize in making single site “village level” wines — highlighting a single plot with different personalities with same winemaking. Their small holdings allow them to know their vineyards by heart. Both Eleni and Edouard exude a passion and energy that comes with a new generation stepping in and creating a different path for their winery.
