About the Producer

The Doyard family's winemaking legacy in Champagne dates back to 1677, with Jean-Baptiste Doyard identified as a winegrower. The domaine was officially established in 1927 by Maurice Doyard in Vertus. Under Yannick Doyard’s leadership since 1979, the estate became renowned for its precise, mineral-etched Champagnes. Today, Guillaume Doyard manages 10 hectares of vineyards in Vertus and Grand Cru villages, practicing organic farming with horse cultivation and low yields for concentrated intensity. Utilizing state-of-the-art Coquard PAI presses, each parcel is vinified separately, undergoing a minimum of 48 months of lees aging, enhancing complexity and depth in their remarkable wines.
