Tasting notes

Reviewed by: Neal Martin
The 2023 Meursault Désirée, which had been racked in July, has a perfumed nose that leans a little more toward Puligny in style. It is a touch more malic than other cuvées. The palate is well balanced, quite strict and linear in style, with a fine bead of acidity and a dab of stem ginger on the finish. Drink over the next decade.

The 2023 Meursault Désirée is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of orange oil, apple and citrus blossom and sweet stone fruits. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's suave and sensual, with a fleshy core that segues into a long, elegantly chalky finish.
