Tasting notes

Reviewed by: Neal Martin
The 2022 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a wet stone-infused bouquet with razor-sharp delineation, almost "austere" compared to the Les Charmes. Transparent yet revealing a menthol tincture with aeration. The well-balanced palate has a keen thread of acidity, linear and taut, slightly more appley than the Charmes but with equal persistence. Superb.

The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières unwinds in the glass with scents of pear, citrus oil, white flowers and fresh hazelnuts. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and pure, it's a taut, precise wine, with a lively spine of acidity that carries through the long, saline finish.
