About the Producer
Veuve A Devaux is located in the Cote des Bar sub-region of the Champagne region of France and is one of the well-known wineries in the region. In 1846, brothers Jules and Auguste of the Devaux family founded Devaux Winery together. Soon after its establishment, the winery became famous and developed into a world-renowned champagne brand. After the death of the two brothers, Madame Veuve Augusta DEVAUX took over the winery. Madame Veuve was a woman of outstanding personality and ability. Her pioneering spirit led to the further expansion and development of the winery. By the end of the 19th century, 75% of Château de Vaux's champagne was exported to countries and regions outside France. For nearly a century, DeVaux Winery has been owned by the DeVo family. Since the last heir of the family had no children, he handed over the management and operation of this illustrious winery to Union Auboise before his death. Since the establishment of Chateau De Vau, the champagne produced by the Chateau has represented elegance and vitality, and is widely welcomed and loved by the world. Château de Vau has always adhered to its principles to ensure the production of high-quality champagne. The winery's principles include that the selected grapes must come from grape growers with long-term relationships. After the grapes are picked, they will be pressed nearby to avoid the oxidation of the grapes caused by long-distance transportation. Only the juice from the first pressing is used by the winery to make champagne. Champagne is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel barrels and aged in oak barrels. Only a small number of grapes needed to make still wine are fermented in oak barrels. Champagne Champagne is aged for longer than that required by the Champagne Appellation. The Champagne Classics are generally aged for 3 years, and the Collection D and Vintage Champagnes are generally aged for 5 years. The champagne of the champagne will continue to age for 4-12 months depending on the quality and size of the package after the deslagging and rehydration procedures are completed, and finally it will be shipped to the customer. In the process of grape planting and champagne brewing, the winery pays great attention to the protection of the environment to ensure the long-term sustainable development of the winery. At present, the wines that have been released by Chateau de Vaux include La Collection D Cuvee D, Grande Reserve Brut, Blanc de Noirs, Cuvee Rosee, Creme de Cuvee Demi-Sec, etc., which are deeply loved by consumers.
