Tasting notes

The NV Largillier Blanc de Noirs Brut is a pure single-vineyard Pinot Noir with a deep and intense bouquet of ripe, concentrated fruits but also complex mineral and salty expressions (marl soils) that remind me of Jura and Chablis. Pure, highly finessed and fruity on the palate, this is a very elegant and balanced Pinot Noir with remarkable finesse and elegance. Very expressive but also charming. This is a pure 2013 vintage that was fermented in stainless steel. Tasted April 2018.

Based on the 2010 vintage, the NV Largillier Blanc de Noirs (disgorged in January 2014 with nine grams per liter of dosage) starts with a lovely clear, pure and subtle bouquet with floral as well as mineral aromas, and a great finesse of fruit. Very mineral, highly elegant and finesse-full on the palate, this is a light, full-flavored and very delicate Champagne of great expression and persistency. It is very straight and subtle with extraordinary finesse.
