About the Producer

Charles van Canneyt is the young vigneron at the helm of Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat. Looking to increase production, he started a négoce label under his own name in 2012, expanding the operation in 2013. Charles does not make the wines but sources and selects finished wines and releases them under his own label. The wines are made in tiny volumes and therefore tend to escape the notice of critics, however the quality is as you’d expect from the winemaker of Hudelot-Noëllat. Depending on access and availability, Charles releases around 10 cuvées a year, typically red wines from the Côte de Nuits, although he has worked with a host of different appellations.
