The 2019 Blanc de Blancs La Haute Lemblé offers up notes of peach, pear and apple mingled with notions of toasted nuts and anise. Full-bodied, broad and layered, it's rich, dense and concentrated, with a fleshy core of fruit framed by chalky extract, segueing into a long, mineral finish.

About the Producer

Cedric Bouchard, a sommelier himself, took over his father's vineyard on the Cote des Bar in the 1990s and established Champagne Roses de Jeanne in 2000 with a revolutionary concept of single vineyard, single variety, single vintage And no sugar (zero dosage) is added to brew Champagne after removing the residue. The grapes are cultivated in an organic way, and the yield is reduced to a minimum, brewing a wine with a distinctive personality, which immediately became the star of the Champagne region after release. , and won the title of the best winemaker of La Revue du vin de France and Gault Millau in 2005 and 2008 respectively. The unique brewing method and the distinctive terroir characteristics have written a new chapter for champagne. In addition to Val Vilaine and Cote de Bechalin (formerly La Parcelle), which were taken over by his father, Cedric Bouchard's single vineyards also include Les Ursules, Les Creux d'Enfer, La Haute-Lamblee, La Boloree and Presle, which were established in the early days of the winery. The wines are now missing, Hedonists launched today, starting with Presle Blanc de Noirs 2013, Cote de Val Vilaine Blanc de Noirs 2017 and Inflorescence Val Vilaine Blanc de Noirs NV, Presle is Cedric Bouchard's innovative representative, on 0.25 hectares 10 different Pinot Noirs were selected from the vineyards, and the different vines were blended to create unprecedented complexity. Initially for the production of Champagne red wine, Coteaux Champenois, but after evaluating the characteristics of the grapes, he changed his mind and made Blanc de Noirs. , the taste is round, the aroma is rich, and the meticulousness is extraordinary. The annual output is only about 1,000 bottles, and the Val Vilaine vineyard, which is also planted with 100% Pinot Noir, is only 1.5 hectares. It was launched not only in 2017, but also in the early days with his father's wine label. Older models listed in Inflorescence.
